01 Ace Innovation Lab Has Launched a New Personal Information Dashboard Inkycal v3
German company Ace Innovation Lab has launched a new personal information dashboard product, Inkycal v3, featuring a Raspberry Pi Zero W SBC with a 7.5-inch tri-color ePaper display, with a thickness of 10mm and weighing less than 150 grams. It offers two tri-color display modes: "black-white-red" and "black-white-yellow".
The standout feature of Inkycal v3 is its modular main screen setup, allowing for customizing the display content of the dashboard using modules such as calendar, image& slideshow, RSS feeds, stock market quotes, weather, and to-do lists, without the need for coding.
02 Kyobo Bookstore is Launching New eReader, Supporting Handwriting Capabilities
Kyobo Bookstore is launching the second generation eReader, sam7.8, which supports handwriting capabilities. The product features a 7.8-inch ePaper display, a 1.8GHz processor, 3GB RAM, and introduces a flip cover design for convenient portability. Early bird users will receive a 6-month unlimited subscription to Kyobo Bookstore eBooks and audiobooks.
Kyobo Bookstore sells 10,000 eReaders annually, with eReader users contributing to 46% of their content sales growth.
03 Onyx Released a New Black and White ePaper Notebook, Note Air3
Onyx has released a new monochrome eNote product, Note Air3. The product features a 10.3-inch E Ink Carta 1200 ePaper display, an upgraded Qualcomm 2.4GHz octa-core GPU from Note Air2 Plus, and an added microSD card slot. Compared to the previously released Note Air3 C, Note Air3 does not adopt BSR (Boox Super Refresh) technology, which may affect the smoothness during page scrolling and web browsing but will extend battery life.
04 iReader is Launching iReader Color7, Color eReader Product
iReader Color7, a color eReader, will be launched by iReader on December 22. It features an asymmetrical design similar to Ocean 3, supporting book-like holding. The screen adopts a 7-inch E Ink Kaleido 3 color ePaper display, with a white pixel density of 300 PPI and a color pixel density of 150 PPI, supporting "dual-color mode".
Thanks to the E Ink Comfort Gaze front light system, the screen provides a consistent and comfortable reading experience regardless of the lighting conditions. This may be the industry's first 7-inch color eReader.
