Samsung Electronics has unveiled its next generation of commercial displays featuring AI-powered solutions at the Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2025 event in Barcelona.
At the forefront of Samsung's presentation was the ultra-low-power Samsung Color E-Paper, known as the EMDX model. This display operates at 0.00W when showing static images and consumes much less energy during transitions compared with traditional digital signage, as reported by AV Magazine.
Available in sizes going from 13 inches to a 75-inch outdoor version, the Color E-Paper comes with a rechargeable battery, USB-C ports, and wireless connectivity options. To make it easier to manage content, Samsung has developed a mobile app. They have also included their Visual eXperience Transformation (VXT) technology, which improves how well you can see content and allows you to preview it.
Hoon Chung, Executive Vice President of Samsung Electronics Visual Display Business, said the company's latest innovations show its dedication to creating new markets and offering impactful business solutions around the world, according to the report.
Samsung also introduced a 115-inch 4K QHFX smart signage display. It has a 16:9 aspect ratio and can show up to four split windows at once. This large display has a QLED 4K resolution with 700 nits of brightness. It also connects easily to Samsung's SmartThings Pro platform and Samsung VTX.
