2. Presentation of Industrial Contribution Award: Paying Tribute to Industry Promoters
After Bai Weimin’s speech, the conference entered an important award ceremony. During her tenure, Bai Weimin made important contributions to promoting the development of the mainland LCD display industry and cross-strait cooperation; after retirement, she still remained active in the front line of the display industry. In January 2025, she promoted the reduction of the import tariff on ePaper display modules from 8% to a provisional zero tariff, saving local enterprises nearly 100 million yuan in tariffs annually. To recognize her outstanding contributions, the Standing Council of the ePaper Industry Alliance decided to award her the “2025 Annual Industrial Contribution Award”. At the award ceremony, Chen Rengui, Executive Chairman of the ePaper Industry Alliance, presented the award to Bai Weimin, and the guests at the scene jointly witnessed this exciting moment.
