On July 16, AOC launched the 13T5S, a color E Ink portable monitor featuring the new-generation E Ink Kaleido 3 color panel with an Oxide (IGZO) backplane. The 13.3-inch display is launched at a price of 4,599 yuan.

Design

The monitor features a flat dual-sided design with an anodized aluminum alloy rear shell, micro-curved edge transitions, and diamond-cut bezels. It comes with a folding rotating leather cover that supports 90-degree rotation in both directions, two-tier height adjustment (0-50mm), and three landscape tilt angles (10/20/70 degrees), balancing portability with multi-scenario flexibility.

Display Performance

The screen delivers up to 3K (3200 x 2400) ultra-high resolution with a 30Hz refresh rate, powered by a dual T2000 TCON driver architecture for smooth display and touch experience. Black-and-white display achieves 300 PPI pixel density, while color display delivers 150 PPI. The screen surface is covered with a durable nano-coating and uses fully laminated 0.4mm glass with 14% haze AG anti-glare, effectively reducing ambient light interference.

Eye Protection and Adjustment

The display features E Ink comfortGaze professional optical technology for soft, comfortable lighting. It includes three custom display modes — Reading, Image & Text, and Video — with 9-level contrast adjustment, 5-level Gamma grayscale, 10-level warm light, and 10-level cool light adjustment. The screen supports zone-based ghosting detection with automatic layout update adjustment or manual clearing. Touch controls are located at the lower left of the screen, with a dedicated ghosting clear button.

Connectivity and Compatibility

The device is equipped with two full-function USB-C ports, both supporting single-cable connection (video signal transmission + power). The package includes a protective cover, power adapter, and two USB-C to C cables. The monitor is compatible with Windows and macOS systems, with OTG upgrade support coming later.
