On August 27, well-known E Ink device maker Bigme launched a brand-new color E Ink photo frame lineup — a glare-free, paper-like wireless digital display device designed for home decor, schedule display and digital artwork presentation. The move marks Bigme's official entry into the ePaper photo frame category.

The new series comprises three models: the compact desktop-oriented F7 and F7 Pro, and the larger wall-mount-friendly F13. This lineup will go head-to-head with the Pocketbook Inkposter, Aluratek ePaper 13.3, Philips Tableaux series and Samsung EMDX color ePaper products.

Bigme was previously known primarily for its E Ink tablets and eReaders. This time, the digital poster line takes a different route. Unlike Philips and Samsung, which focus on large commercial wall displays, Bigme positions the F7 and F7 Pro as refined, premium desktop devices that double as digital decor paintings while also showing weather, calendars and memos — balancing practicality and home aesthetics.

The base F7 features an 800×480 resolution display, a built-in 1,300 mAh rechargeable battery and is fully wireless, lasting several months on a single charge. It sells for approximately CAD 123.28 on the Bigme official store.

The upgraded F7 Pro uses a higher-spec E Ink Spectra display, with resolution bumped to 1024×600, pixel density reaching 158 PPI, sharper text rendering and improved color saturation. It is priced at approximately CAD 137.13 on the official store.

The F13 is the large-format flagship of the lineup, equipped with a 13.3-inch E Ink Spectra 6 color ePaper panel. Leveraging Spectra 6 full-color ePaper technology, the image delivers rich, saturated colors with zero glare and a viewing experience close to physical print. It moves beyond the desktop-ornament positioning with wall-mount support, making it ideal as an art-gallery display. The F13 is listed at USD 289, currently on promotion at USD 239, and is available on the brand's official store.
